Astrological preview June 2025

Find the strength to lead yourself

The cosmos continues to push us toward transformation—if you don’t move, you will be moved.
June 2025 is all about emotional new beginnings and building both inner and outer security.
Until June 20, the mutable sign Gemini brings lightness, exchange, and is filled with new encounters and ideas, while the rare meeting of Saturn and Neptune in Aries from the end of May creates a long-term sense of underlying uncertainty.
From June 9, the mood becomes more emotional. Jupiter moves into Cancer and, for a year, puts the focus on family, security, comfort, property, mother-related themes, and—climatically—the oceans. Unfortunately, one effect of Jupiter in Cancer is the further warming of the seas, which will likely become more apparent this summer.
There are two major highlights in June: the solstice on June 21 and the New Moon on June 25. The lucky planet Jupiter accompanies the longest day of the year and stands exactly with the New Moon four days later—a perfect time to plant new, expansive seeds for your inner and outer roots. These days invite you to lay stable foundations and initiate emotional new beginnings for the future.
A manifestation ritual is recommended one to two days after the New Moon, ideally when the first slender crescent of the Moon becomes visible in the sky.
From June 21, emotions take center stage. They can determine our thinking and actions and will challenge us to find and strengthen peace and security within ourselves—despite or even because of the sweeping energies of change. Sort out your feelings and old emotions appropriately. If necessary, bring order to your inner world and build something new.

June chronologically:
June 1 – October 14: Pluto retrograde in Aquarius – Letting Go
Pluto has been retrograde since May 4. This period invites inner work: old patterns and power struggles can be recognized and resolved, especially for Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius.
June 6–28: Venus in Taurus – Sensual Pleasures
Venus in Taurus awakens the desire for stability, pleasure, and consistency. Committed relationships are in focus, but separations are also possible if expectations no longer align. Especially earth and water signs will experience romantic and emotional turning points.
June 9–26: Mercury in Cancer – Empathy & Understanding
Mercury in Cancer fosters emotional conversations and understanding for the needs of others. It’s a good time to heal wounds through dialogue, as Mercury in Cancer speaks from the heart. Reach out to one another—offer forgiveness if needed.

June 9, 2025 – Early June 2026: Jupiter in Cancer – Empathy & Security
Jupiter brings a year of luck for Cancers and stands for growth in family, home, and emotional security. You can realign yourself emotionally.
Especially Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces will benefit from this deep, transformative energy.

June 11: Full Moon in Sagittarius – Broadening Horizons
The Full Moon brings optimism, a thirst for adventure, and a desire for something new. Ideal for bold steps, travel, or further education. Air and fire signs benefit most.

June 15: Mars Square Uranus – Suddenness
Be careful with your actions—especially in traffic and with sharp objects. This aspect fuels impulsive actions.
On the positive side, you can break a routine or do something you wouldn’t usually dare.

June 15: Saturn Square Jupiter – Growth and Limitation
It’s about balancing growth and limitation, overcoming obstacles, and setting realistic goals. Personally and collectively, this constellation calls for dealing with setbacks.
Many people will be forced to review their plans, focus on essentials, and draw consequences from the experiences of recent years.
Because the Mars-Uranus square is also active on the same day, patience may be hard to maintain, and there’s a tendency to act hastily.
Especially affected are people with important planetary placements at the cusps of Pisces/Aries, Gemini/Cancer, Virgo/Libra, and Sagittarius/Capricorn.

June 17 – August 6: Mars in Virgo – Order & Precision
Mars brings energy for discipline, structure, and purposeful action. You can focus on details, accuracy, and methodical approaches.
Especially in music or sports that require technique, precision, and endurance, you can make great progress during this window.
These are excellent energies to tackle projects, make sustainable plans, and focus on health topics.

June 21: Sun in Cancer & Summer Solstice
With the Sun’s entry into Cancer, a phase of care and emotional connection begins. The summer solstice marks an energetic turning point—ideal for gratitude rituals and new beginnings in the home.

June 25: New Moon in Cancer – Emotional New Beginning
An extraordinary New Moon. Together with Jupiter, it brings a powerful start for emotional themes, family, and private projects. Uranus brings fresh air and sudden insights—freedom and authenticity are strengthened!

You can perform a manifestation or initiation ritual one to two days after the New Moon:

  • Manifestation ritual: Focus on creating and realizing a wish or goal.
  • Initiation ritual: Focus on transition, transformation, and entering a new life phase or community.

For a ritual, it’s essential to feel at one with your feelings and thoughts. Consciously raise your vibration—through yoga, meditation, music, or singing, for example. Ask yourself: How do I want to feel?
The quality of your feelings and thoughts largely determines what you will manifest or initiate. Especially when Pluto is retrograde, the cosmic energy supports you in looking inward, letting go of old patterns, and making space for new, authentic desires. Use this phase to connect with yourself and strengthen your inner alignment.

June 27 – September 2: Mercury in Leo – Self-Expression
The planet of commerce and communication will stay unusually long in proud Leo this year, as it will be retrograde from July 18 to August 10.
During its Leo phase, Mercury brings more self-confidence, creativity, and persuasiveness. It’s a good time to put yourself in the “right” light, pursue ideas with passion, and inspire others. During the retrograde phase, however, it’s advisable to pause, reflect on the past, and not let yourself be guided too much by impulsive reactions.

June 28: Mercury – Saturn – Concrete Implementation
An excellent day to concretize ideas. The power of implementation is available. Thinking is clear, pragmatic, and solution-oriented.

June 29: Mercury Opposition Pluto – The Unconscious
Days of deep thoughts. Power and powerlessness require wisdom to illuminate deep, even dark themes. The unconscious comes to light—it’s time to face your fears.
