Astrological Forcast September 2026

Our habits shape our days – and our days shape our lives.

Following August’s turbulent and eventful eclipse season, September is about integrating the changes that have been set in motion into everyday life. Reorganise yourself with objectivity, discipline, calmness and clarity.

The energy changes noticeably over the course of the month.

September can be divided into three main phases:

At the beginning of the month, growth and optimism meet limitations and resistance. Visions need to be examined realistically, while personal energy must be used consciously.

The days surrounding the New Moon in Virgo on 11 September are especially supportive for creating order, clearing out your inner world, establishing new routines and approaching your physical and emotional health with greater awareness. Around the middle of the month, relationships, vulnerability, trust and emotional truth move into the foreground.Encounters can deepen, but may also touch old wounds or bring unspoken conflicts to the surface.

The Full Moon phase at the end of the month combines sensitivity and longing with a desire for change and new beginnings. Dreams now need to be grounded in reality so that a new direction can emerge from them.

Throughout September, pay attention to the signals your body is sending you. More than almost any other sign, Virgo represents health, mindfulness and the subtle interaction between body, mind and soul.

September in Chronological Order

1 September – Growth, Responsibility and Restrained Energy

Jupiter Trine Saturn – Growth with Substance
Jupiter and Saturn combine expansion with stability. Visions can take concrete form, while plans can be developed realistically and secured for the long term. This is a favourable time for making decisions that promise not only immediate success, but lasting results as well. Growth arises through patience, experience and the courage to accept responsibility.

Mars Square Saturn – Restrained Energy
At the same time, Mars wants to act while Saturn imposes limits. Resistance, delays or obligations may create the feeling of pressing the accelerator and the brake at the same time.

Expectations may be high, while the available energy is limited. Do not try to overcome obstacles by force. Consider where your efforts are genuinely worthwhile and whether your plans require a more stable foundation.

Mercury Sextile Mars – Clear Words
Mercury and Mars strengthen determination. Thoughts are easier to put into words, viewpoints become clearer and conversations more direct. This constellation can help us address problems and bring movement into situations that have become stuck. Be mindful, however, to speak decisively without overwhelming others with your words. The beginning of the month therefore requires both courage and restraint. Act clearly, but use your energy wisely.

10 September – Relationships Become Deeper and More Truthful

Venus Enters Scorpio and Opposes Chiron
With Venus in Scorpio, relationships can become deeper, more passionate and more committed. Superficial encounters feel less satisfying. We want to know where we stand and seek emotional truth and genuine intimacy. The simultaneous opposition to Chiron may touch old wounds connected with relationships or self-worth. We may recognise where we have adapted ourselves, closed our hearts or settled for less out of fear of rejection. Encounters may touch a sensitive point. Yet this also offers an opportunity to become more conscious of an old wound and respond to it differently. Healing begins where we no longer feel compelled to hide our vulnerability.

Mercury Enters Libra – Understanding and Balance Mercury in Libra searches for common ground. We think more deeply about relationships, fairness and the impact of our words. Diplomatic conversations and fair solutions become possible. At the same time, it may become more difficult to take a clear position. Harmony is valuable, but not when it is achieved through self-denial.

The combination of Venus in Scorpio and Mercury in Libra supports honest, respectful and solution-oriented conversations. Matters that have remained unspoken for a long time can now be addressed with greater care.

Uranus Turns Retrograde – Inner Liberation As Uranus turns retrograde, the process of change moves increasingly inward. External developments may initially slow down, while inner restlessness and the desire for freedom become more noticeable. Where are you still living according to rules that no longer suit you? The coming months invite you to recognise inner limitations and redefine your personal understanding of freedom.

11–14 September – New Moon in Virgo: Order and New Perspectives

11 September – New Moon in Virgo
The New Moon takes place at 5:27 a.m. CEST at 18°26′ Virgo. It opens a new cycle for work, health, nutrition, order and everyday habits.
Our lives are shaped not only by extraordinary events, but above all by what we repeatedly do each day. This New Moon is a favourable time to clear things out, reduce unnecessary burdens and establish new routines.

Small changes can have a significant effect when they are implemented consistently.
Mercury, the ruler of this New Moon, is simultaneously connected with Pluto, Neptune and Uranus. Alongside its practical Virgo qualities, this New Moon therefore also carries a psychological, intuitive and mentally liberating dimension.

12 September – Mercury Trine Pluto: Mental Depth Mercury and Pluto enable us to look clearly beneath the surface. Unspoken motives, hidden connections and psychological patterns may become easier to recognise. Conversations gain depth and truthfulness. This constellation is particularly favourable for therapy, research, honest discussions and decisions that require a deeper understanding.

12 September – Mercury Opposite Neptune: Between Intuition and Illusion

At the same time, Mercury opposes Neptune. Perception becomes more sensitive and intuitive, but also more susceptible to misunderstandings, projections and wishful thinking.
Not everything is necessarily as it first appears. Verify important information and avoid premature conclusions. This constellation is especially suitable for creativity, music, meditation and spiritual experiences, but less favourable for final decisions or binding contracts.

14 September – Mercury Trine Uranus: Surprising Insights
Mercury and Uranus bring movement into our thinking. New ideas, unusual solutions and surprising news can open up situations that have become stuck.
A conversation or spontaneous thought may suddenly offer a new perspective. Be willing to move beyond familiar ideas. Mental freedom enables growth.

14 September – Lilith in Capricorn: Reclaiming Your Authority
Lilith in Capricorn touches on themes of power, achievement, control, responsibility and social expectations.
Where are you fulfilling obligations that no longer correspond with your own values? Where do you believe you must remain strong and continue functioning, even though your inner self longs for something different?
Lilith challenges us to reclaim our own authority and take responsibility for our personal path in life – regardless of what others expect.

15–18 September – Love, Power and Old Wounds

15 September – Venus Square Pluto: Intense Feelings

Venus and Pluto intensify relationships, feelings and desires. Encounters may feel magnetic and passionate. At the same time, jealousy, fear of loss, control or power struggles may rise to the surface.
What has previously been suppressed can no longer be easily ignored. This does not necessarily mean that relationships must end, but they do require greater honesty.
What has genuine substance can deepen. What is held together only by fear, dependency or habit comes under pressure.
Financial matters, personal values and artistic processes may also enter an intense phase of development.

16 September – Neptune Sextile Pluto: Long-Term, Silent Transformation
The sextile between Neptune and Pluto is not a short-lived influence limited to a single day, but part of a longer collective transformation. Neptune and Pluto combine spiritual development with profound change. Old worldviews, ideologies and concepts of power begin to dissolve. At the same time, new values and visions emerge, although their final form is not yet recognisable.

18 September – Mercury Opposite Saturn: Serious Conversations
Mercury and Saturn create a sober and serious atmosphere. Words may carry greater weight, criticism may affect us more deeply and decisions require careful thought. We may encounter external limitations or our own inner critical voice. Do not allow this to discourage you. This constellation is well suited to recognising mistakes, reviewing agreements and giving thoughts a clear and sustainable form.

18 September – Chiron Returns to Aries in Retrograde Motion
Chiron returns to Aries once again, touching old wounds connected with self-assertion, courage and identity.
Situations may become relevant again in which we were unable to assert ourselves, felt rejected or believed that our personal will was not respected. The task is not to fight harder, but to express our position with greater awareness and clarity. You are allowed to follow your own path without having to justify yourself.

21 September – Mercury Sextile Jupiter: Vision and Optimism
After the more serious days, Mercury’s sextile to Jupiter brings renewed optimism and a broader perspective.
Conversations can unfold constructively, solutions become visible and larger connections are easier to understand. This is a favourable time for negotiations, education, travel, counselling and long-term planning.

23 September – Sun Enters Libra: Relationships and Balance
As the Sun enters Libra, the astronomical autumn begins in the Northern Hemisphere.
Relationships, encounters, beauty and justice move more strongly into the foreground. We seek harmony and a fair balance between our own needs and those of the people around us.
Libra reminds us that genuine balance does not arise through constant adaptation, but through a conscious equilibrium between self and others.

26 September – Full Moon across the Aries–Libra Axis: Dreams and Reality
The Full Moon takes place at 6:49 p.m. CEST. The Sun is in Libra, while the Moon stands opposite it at 3°37′ Aries.
This Full Moon initially illuminates the tension between self-assertion and relationships. The Aries Moon wants to act spontaneously, assert itself and follow its own needs. The Libra Sun seeks connection, harmony and consideration. Where have you adapted yourself too much? Where do you expect peace without expressing your truth? And where might you be seeing only your own point of view? However, this Full Moon is more complex than a simple opposition between self and others. The Moon is conjunct Neptune, while the Sun opposes Neptune and forms a trine to Pluto. A few days later, the Sun also trines Uranus. Together, these aspects create a powerful overall configuration combining sensitivity, vision, transformation and renewal.

Sun Opposite Neptune – Unclear Perception
The opposition between the Sun and Neptune increases sensitivity, compassion and intuition. At the same time, tiredness, uncertainty or a lack of direction may arise.
Boundaries become more permeable and we absorb the moods of our surroundings more strongly. Be careful not to lose yourself in other people’s expectations, idealisations or unfulfilled longings. Rest, creativity, meditation and retreat may now be more healing than forced activity. This Full Moon is less suited to defining new and specific goals than to listening inwardly and finding a deeper sense of direction.

Sun Trine Pluto – Inner Strength
At the same time, the trine between the Sun and Pluto gives us the strength to look beneath the surface and initiate necessary changes. We recognise more clearly what strengthens us and what has lost its significance. Despite possible uncertainty, profound inner strength is available. Dreams and visions can point towards a new direction. For something sustainable to develop from them, however, they must be honestly compared with reality.

27 September – Mars Square Chiron: Wounded Self-Assertion
Mars square Chiron may activate old wounds. Anger, impatience or conflict can reveal where we feel overlooked, rejected or powerless. Do not try to resolve an inner wound through an external battle. Ask yourself which sensitive point is being touched. Consciously directed strength can help overcome an old sense of powerlessness. This also includes realistically assessing your own limits and the energy that is genuinely available to you.

28 September – Renewed Strength and Unexpected Change

Mars Enters Leo – Courage and Creative Energy
As Mars enters Leo, the energy becomes more fiery, confident and creative. We want to act, create, be seen and express our individuality. Use this energy for creative projects, physical activity and matters of the heart. Mars in Leo fights for what truly matters. Be mindful, however, that pride and the need for recognition do not create unnecessary conflicts.

Sun Trine Uranus – New Beginnings and Liberation
The Sun’s trine to Uranus brings fresh energy and opens up new possibilities. Change feels easier and surprising developments may release a situation that has become stuck. This is a favourable time to try something new, break old habits and give your individuality more space.
What still appeared unclear or contradictory during the Full Moon phase may suddenly become simpler. Follow the impulses that help you feel more alive and free.

30 September – Mercury in Scorpio: Words, Truth and Depth

Mercury Opposite Chiron – Words Touch Old Wounds
At the end of the month, conversations may once again touch a sensitive point. Old misunderstandings, criticism or experiences of not being heard may reappear. Words can wound, but they can also heal. Speak consciously and listen attentively. An honest conversation can help clarify something that has remained unspoken for a long time.

Mercury Enters Scorpio – Recognising Hidden Connections
As Mercury enters Scorpio, our thinking becomes more intense and investigative. We are less satisfied with superficial explanations and want to understand underlying causes, motives and hidden connections. Conversations become more personal and truthful. Secrets may come to light and psychological insights can make deeper change possible. September therefore ends with a different energy from the one with which it began: the initial need for order and stability gradually develops into the courage to look more deeply, speak our truth and initiate necessary changes.
